This day course is designed to show how variety and originality can be brought to
container planting. We shall look at the types and suitability of containers for
summer displays, choice of plants, composts, planting up and aftercare.  
Hands-on instruction will be given on the best ways of designing and planting standing 
and hanging containers. Each individual will the design and make up their own. 

The course will be held at the home and garden of Jennifer Andrews, Henley, Suffolk.

The day will be a mixture of talks, demonstrations and hands-on experience.

                Each participant to design and plant up at least one
                standing container.

4.00        Afternoon Tea, followed by question time.

5.00        Course finishes.

Clients are asked to bring a packed lunch, notepad and writing materials, 
suitable garden footwear and gardening gloves (if you wish to wear them),
plus one or more standing containers (of reasonable size) which you may
wish to plant up in the afternoon.

Cost of the course is £45.00

This includes a charge for a hanging basket, compost and the use of a number 
of container plants in the design and planting up of the hanging basket. Additional 
plants which you may use in the design and planting of your standing container will 
be charged for if you wish to take them away. We shall also have a few standing
containers for sale. Places are limited, so if you’d like to join us please apply early.

We reserve the right to cancel the course if there are insufficient clients to support 
the day. A decision on this will be made two weeks before the course date.
